What an incredible result of such a simple task. Meditation can actually increase a person’s ability to learn, retain memory, be self aware, have compassion, and perform introspection! I know I could use just a few of those in my life each day, and meditation may help it all!

While sitting, focus on the way the air feels as you breathe it through your nose and mouth; while standing or walking, focus on how your legs and feet feel as they move and carry your body.
  2. Thank — gratitude is a great way to meditate. US News uses this as a method for beginners to practice meditation, and it is a great way to get the mind off of a person’s current situation and place their thoughts into a relaxed, grateful state.
